The Plainfield High school debate team was founded in 2009 as a small group of dedicated students. Much has happened since then, and as the team approaches it's 10th year, it brings with it two titles in the Connecticut Debate Association, a championship title in the Dr. Grace Sawyer Jones debates in 2015-2016 season, and has consistently reached the finals in it. The team has been run by Kevin Mariano since it's founding.
